Author Confessions: From Legacy to Kings...

This week I'm spilling the tea on one of my most asked questions from readers.

What happened to the Face-Off Legacy Series?

In the summer of 2020, I changed the name of the series to Campus Kings. I also renamed the individual books. This seems like a strange thing to do for what was once a massive selling series, right? But I have good reasons.

Confession #1

Many readers were confused by the previous titles of the Face-Off Legacy Series. The similarities between the series names also confused new readers, and I can see why.

I've had a lot of questions about Parker and Pucking Parker as well as the other titles. Readers thought they were either the same book repackaged or two versions about the same player.

If you're new to my books, Face-Off is an adult NHL hockey romance series. The formerly titled Face-Off Legacy Series, now called Campus Kings, is a college hockey romance series about the sons of the original players.

Confession #2

I also changed the series name and titles for business reasons. Pucking Parker, while a funny title, is not something Amazon wanted to market to their readers. They said the title was pornographic and offensive, which prevented me from pursuing any paid advertising options through their platform.

Confession #3

Starting in February 2021, all of my books are coming out of the Kindle Unlimited program and will be available at Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.
